This would be a trap, I think. One of the Trump campaign's main points of attack against her will be all the times she spoke with confidence about Biden's sharpness and capability "behind closed doors". Drawing attention directly to Trump's age would remind voters that until literally yesterday she firmly supported a man who is (in apparent, if not in actual age) faaaaar older than Trump.
Anyone with good sense knows we need Trump and Vance who are really dedicated Americans. Look at their families and past lives. Haters need to let that ambiguous hate go for the good of the country. Trump did a fine job at his last go round. Quit hurting yourselves and the rest of us. Vance is the American dream and he made the best of opportunities availed to him. This is the greatest country in the world that has almost be decimated these last four years and if you are true to yourself, you know this is true. I don't have to love/like any man, I just like the results. Trump results were positive before and he knows more now.

Agreed, though I wonder if parties are going to make it easier or hard to push an incumbent aside. I suspect harder though I'd be happy to be wrong.
