Go Caps. Being from New York myself, I was a Yankee fan (my father grew up in the Bronx) but then rooted for the Islanders and Jets - and the Knicks. But when I moved to DC I dropped them all except the Yankees.
I never had a problem following the puck on the old school TVs, but the thing I *love* about HD hockey is that they put the whole offensive zone in the picture. You watch an old game now with an SD feed, and half the time you can’t see the goal and the blue line at the same time, that’s a terrible viewing experience.

Heh, the OJ chase enraged my Knicks-loving friend. We were watching the game 7 in SoCal, and they cut into the game to show the stupid chase.
For me, big screen HD is huge for hockey. Way better to watch than a little tube screen TV. Live, of course, is where it's really at.
Agreed.

We at least you didn't become a Devils fan like David Puddy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftUR6AFTNMA
